Pantry Reorganization: Pasta Jars and Labels

On a recent trip to Target I picked up this little beauty…….

And of course when I went to Ikea I picked up some more SLOM jars for my pasta fetish.

Ahh doesn’t the pasta look cozy in their new homes?

I love the unity of having the same types of jars for all my pastas.  There are 4 main long noodles that are my staples: angel hair, linguine, spaghetti, and fettuccini.  These noodles make dreams come true.  Also housed in these tall jars are manicotti noodles and lasagna noodles.

I picked up some pretty basic labels at Office Max.  I wrote in cursive with pen each pasta name to add some fancy factor.

I attached the label to the metal part of the jar so I can identify each specific type of pasta.

They look amazingly elegant yet simple all lined up in the pantry.

Now for the Budget Breakdown:

6 SLOM Pasta Jars: $29.94
1 big Target jar: $5.99
Label tags:$6.29
Rice Jar: Had in my collection

Grand Total:  $42.22
