Due to the amount of requests for my template for these programs I have decided to provide the template FREE to all potential brides who want to recreate this look for their special day!
Before this template will work on your computer you will need to download the following fonts: Splendid ES and Calabri. You can get Splendid ES free from here, and Calabri is typically found on most computers.
Then, click HERE to get a copy of the template. This link will take you to the Google docs version of the template. The template fonts WILL be screwed up, but since you have downloaded these fonts in your computer and loaded them into Word (you can use a tutorial like this if you are unfamiliar with the process) once you download the file the fonts should be correct. Next, download the file onto your computer and it all should be good to go for you to put in your own information!
If you want to know more about how to assemble to programs go here to the original post! Measurements and further instructions for assembling are included on the template.
Happy crafting!
P.S. my blood, sweat, and tears went into these programs and they are the sole design of Ann from the Domestic Domicile. I have no problem sharing my templates with all those amazing brides out there, but this template is designed for personal use only. It is for kick butt DIY brides and the reproduction of this template is not to be used for profit.
Thank you, thank you; a MILLION times thank you! These are FANTASTIC! Your hard work, time, effort and energy (not to mention the blood, sweat & tears) are MORE than appreciated by DIY Brides such as myself! I cannot wait to complete this project!
ReplyDeleteThanks I am glad you like them! Let me know how it goes!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love these programs and want to try and make them myself! What size cardstock did you use?
ReplyDeleteHi! I used regular 8 and 1/2 by 11 inch cardstock. For the blue backing I cut one sheet in half.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!! I cannot wait to try and make these on my own. What did you use to bond the cardstock with the Wedding Party sheet? Also, what size regular paper did you order for the actual program pages? You are a life-saver!!
ReplyDeleteI folded the backing sheet over the top (which helped) and if I remember correctly I used some double sided tape to stick the back sheet of the program to the program backing. I used regular sheets of paper for the program pages (again so I could put it through the printer) and formatted the printout to have several pages on one sheet of paper.
ReplyDeletehi, im kind of slow when it comes to following directions, lol. how did u load the font onto microsoft word, after downloading it??
ReplyDeleteHi - the link below has some pretty easy steps to follow for installing fonts! Good luck!

ReplyDeleteI would be so appreciative if you could send me this template as well. A diy bride dream come true! Thanks so much! Skarolyn19@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteHi Skarolyn19 - the template link is actually within the blog post! Look for the all caps HERE and click on it. It will take you right to the template!
ReplyDeleteIt actually is not working for me either (I totally tried everything), if you can e-mail it to me I would love to use it too! its kjones092@su.edu. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi kbones092 - it should be in your inbox now! Fingers crossed!
ReplyDeleteNeed some help. My D-i-L to be has asked me to help with these since I make cards often. Glad to do it, but as I was reading the directions, I am a bit confused. You mentioned cutting the backing paper in half lengthwise. That will leave me with two pieces of 4.25 x 11. So far this makes sense. Then I read that the template for the pages was also 4.25 wide, yet your visual shows approximately .25 in of border on all sides. BAsed on that, either you cannot get two out of the backing or the sheets need to be narrowed to allow for border. Hate to push but I have 2 weeks to make 300 of these so, I need to know what to do here.
ReplyDeleteHi Mamapow! You are absolutely right!! I wrote this post almost a year after my DIY wedding so my brain was kind of fuzzy. The inset sheets are 4.25 inches - and after I drug out all of my wedding memorabilia and extra sheets of cardstock I realized that the cardstock width measures to 4 5/8 inches – which must mean I only used one sheet per program! Dependant on text size the insets could always be shrunk down to accomodate for a 4.25 inch cover. Hope this helps!
ReplyDeleteI think unless you are making very few,you need to reduce the text box. I thought your pictures looked wider than standard. One other option would be to widen and use 12 x 12 paper cut in half. That would allow you 5.5 inches of width for text and an extra inch for the length with very little extra cost. (This works unless you,as I had to, have to use silver cardstock. This does not come in 12x12 that is silver on both sides.
DeleteHi! Love the programs but I can't figure out how you got you A & R like that on the front page!!! It's driving me nuts cuz I can't figure it out to save my life! Please let me know how you did that part. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi Alencia! The A and the R are actually seperate text boxes. You move the text boxes closer together until the letters overlap! This is really hard (maybe impossiable?) to do in word. I did mine in Powerpoint but you can also do it in photoshop or publisher!
ReplyDeleteHi Ann! These look great!! I tried accessing the link and am also having problems! Can you please send the template to cheerck12@aol.com? Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteHi, I LOVEEE your wedding programs! They are amazing! I plan on using your template & I was wondering how you put this together exactly? Did you glue each sheet on the top then cut the slit for the ribbon? Or just glue the last sheet on to the cardstock? Sorry, I'm a little confused about this...Thanks for posting your template!!
ReplyDeleteI can't get it to download either could you please email me the template to download? nikkibruch06@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteTHANKS!!
Hi! Is it possible for me to get a copy? The link did not work for me. :( It would greatly be appreciated.
ReplyDeletejgarcia2002_nd@yahoo.ocom

opps I meant jgarcia2002_nd@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteHey - ladies who requested a template it should be in your inbox. Anonymous- After peeling apart my programs (I may the DIY post a while after the actual making of the programs) I found that I stapled all the sheets of paper together. I only glued the last sheet (wedding party) to the back of the program. When I folded the cardstock top over I added got glue in between the sheets and the card stock that was folded over on top. I then did my slits and tied my ribbon! Hope that answers any questions!

ReplyDeleteTHANK THANK THANK YOU for providing this template.. ever since I first saw the *step-style* program, it is all I've wanted for our programs! However, the company I was originally going to use (I know, gasp*), went out of business.... Now, with TWO and a HALF weeks until my big day, I am ONLY entrusting myself and my fiance to get these programs done in the color schematics we want using your template.. I cannot thank you enough for the templates! Cannot wait to start working on these BEAUTIFUL programs this weekend :) Thanks again for the hard work you put into your amazing programs, and also for sharing this with other brides to be :) HAPPY CRAFTING!!!!!
ReplyDelete---Jamie

ReplyDeleteThese are amazing! I am interested in making something similar. I was able to access the template no problem from my computer at work, however now that I am home the link won't work? Not sure why, but is there any way you can e-mail it to me kamacrobbie@yahoo.com. Thanks - Kristy
ReplyDeleteI'm able to open the template, but I cannot edit anything. Is there a way that you can send me a version that can be edited to thatail@yahoo.com?
ReplyDeletekamacrobbie and thatail the template should be in your inbox. thatail - as the directions state you will not be able to edit the first page of the template because it is a PDF - so you need to make your own. Other than that everything should be good to go - enjoy!
ReplyDeleteHow can I adjust the cover page and put our names and church address? If i have to create our own would it be possible for you to send me the "how to" for the first page??
ReplyDeleteThank you: kanyshaf@hotmail.com
I really love this program, but I'm also having trouble. Would you mind sending it to me by email sdlau2005@gmail.com
ReplyDeletesdlau2005 - it should be in your inbox. kanyshaf - you can't adjust the cover page because it is a PDF. I would suggest creating a seperate text box for each letter of your first names and each line of text. Move the text boxes until you get the desired layout. Hope this helps!
ReplyDeleteCan you possibly send it to me as well? Thank you so much!
ReplyDeletea.pupo@comcast.net

ReplyDeleteHi. My wedding is in less than three weeks, and I would love to use this as a template for our programs. I am having trouble with the download. Can you email it to me? Thank you so much! mgerber.110@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteThe dimensions of the cover page PDF are 6.23 by 3.62 with a 83% height scale and 63% width. I have been trying for days to mimic those dimensions in word and ppt to insert my cover page design and have it fit to scale, however I cannot figure it out. Can you please help me with this as it is driving me bonkers! Thanks in advance!
ReplyDeletei was wondering what size cardstock you ordered for these programs
ReplyDeletefor the blue background and what size did you order for the white pages in the programs
Hi guys - the link below has some more information about the cardstock issue and the comments should have more information about dimensions. I bought regular printer paper sized sheets of cardstock. Since I could not get the text small enough to squeeze 2 program backs out of each sheet of cardstock I unfortunately had to use 1 sheet of cardstock per program. I kept the length of the cardstock the same and I believe I added a 1/2 inch to the width of the program paper (equaling a 1/4 inch boarder on each size. Then the way That I folded the top over I had a 1/4 inch left over on the bottom to make the boarder even throughout. Hope this helps!
